The transmission shaft assembly is a rotational body having a high speed and a small support, so its dynamic balance is essential. Under normal circumstances, the transmission shaft assembly should be performed before the factory shall perform a balance test and adjust it on the balancing machine. For the front engine rear wheel drive the vehicle, the rotation of the transmission is transferred to the axis of the main drift. It can be several parts that can be connected by a universal joint.

 

The transmission shaft assembly consists of a shaft tube, a retractable sleeve and a universal joint. The telescopic sleeve can automatically adjust the distance between the transmission and the drive shaft. The universal joint is to ensure the change in the transmission output shaft and the driving bridge input shaft angle, and achieve an angular velocity transmission of the two axes.

The universal joint is a key component of the automobile drive shaft. The car is moving object. In the back drive, the engine, clutch and transmission are mounted on the frame as a whole, while the drive bridge is connected to the frame by an elastic suspension, and there is a distance between the two, which needs to be connected. When the vehicle is driving, the uneven road surface will result in beating, load changes, or the difference in mounting position of the two assemblies causes the angle and distance between the transmission output shaft and the drive bridge main deceler input shaft. Therefore, "change strain" devices should be used to solve this problem, thereby forming a universal joint.

 

In the front of the engine rear wheel drive (or full-wheel drive) car, due to the deformation of the suspension during the automotive exercise, the input shaft of the drive shaft main or the output shaft of the drive shaft and the output shaft of the transmission (or spinning box) is relatively sports. In addition, in order to effectively avoid certain institutions or devices (cannot achieve linear transmission), there must be a device to achieve normal transmission of power, and there is a universal joint transmission.
